Main Window
The main window is where you browse your full history, manage saved clips, and organize reusable content.
Sidebar sections
- Recent Clips shows the latest captured items.
- Favorites keeps starred clips easy to reach.
- Collections group clips that belong together, such as snippets, links, or templates.
Timeline and Details
- Use the timeline to scan clips quickly by title, source, and lightweight metadata.
- Use ⌘F in the main window to focus search.
- Details is the permanent third column. When history is available, Levelory automatically selects and displays the newest clip; otherwise the column shows empty-state guidance.
- Toolbar actions stay in the order Edit, Copy, Favorite, More, and Filter. Use More for collections, Paste Queue, and other secondary actions.
- Filter temporarily replaces Details with a workspace for its source clip. Close Filter to return to the current Timeline selection without changing the three-column layout.
Collections and favorites
Create a collection with ⇧⌘N, then add clips from the main window actions or context menus. Favorites are lighter-weight: they keep important clips visible without removing them from Recents.
When to use the main window
- When the clip you need is older than the current Quick Paste list.
- When you want to curate Favorites or Collections.
- When you need to inspect metadata, edit text, or manage several clips at once.
